An Artist’s Vision, A Nation’s Journey

Created by renowned Spanish filmmaker and experimental visual artist Luis Cuenca Castro, “CHINA 354” features 354 short films captured over the course of 354 days across 30 provinces of China. This monumental work invites the global audience to witness the ebb and flow of Chinese daily life through a deeply human and poetic lens.

As the proud sponsor for the exhibition, Unilumin supplied four vertical 2K COB 0.9 Mini LED displays, enabling a multi-screen immersive experience with exceptional visual quality. With ultra-fine resolution, stable performance, and vivid color reproduction, Unilumin’s advanced LED solutions faithfully bring Castro’s vision to life—transforming light into narrative and pixels into poetry.

Bridging Cultures through Visual Storytelling

His Excellency Yao Jing, Chinese Ambassador to Spain, attended the opening ceremony and emphasized the exhibition’s significance as a “new window” through which the Spanish public can discover the real China and deepen cross-cultural understanding. Carmen Noguero, Secretary General of the Instituto Cervantes, described the project as “a bridge—not only between nations, but between moments in time,” highlighting the cultural and temporal dialogue enabled by “CHINA 354”.

Earlier in April 2024, “CHINA 354” served as the closing exhibition of the official cultural program celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Spain. Hosted at the Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum in Beijing, and again powered by Unilumin’s LED technology, the exhibition attracted ambassadors from several countries and garnered widespread media coverage from international outlets such as “La Vanguardia” and “ABC Cultura”.
