Due to the popularization of LED displays at indoor and outdoor places, fire accidents caused by quality problems and design defects of full-color LED displays to increase. It poses great risks to the safety of staff and financial losses to customers. As accidents increase, we have carried out a deeper analysis: how to prevent fire accidents in the application?

 

 

The root cause of fire accidents of LED displays

 

1. Wire rods

 

In the application of most LED displays, the larger the information of per unit area of the display is, the higher the power consumption will be, requiring a higher standard for the electrification stability of wire rods. Among a large variety of wire rod products, safety and stability can only be ensured by applying wire rods conforming to the national standard.

 

2. Power supply

 

Power supply products​ certified by UL are the best choice when selecting products. Its scientific conversion rate ensures the safety and stability of the power load, making it possible to work under a hot external environment.

 

3. Protective Materials

 

In normal cases, aluminum-plastic plates of outdoor LED display products will age rapidly with the effect of coldness and hotness from rain and high temperature, making it easy for rain and moisture to penetrate into screens during humid seasons, resulting in a short circuit of electronic components that will bring about fire accidents.

 

4. The Plastic kit

 

Plastic kit not only is inflaming retarding but also will not be deformed and turned easily into brittle and crack under high and low temperatures as well as during long-term application. Combining in application with glue boasting fine sealing performance, it can to some extent prevent rain from penetrating into the interior, which will cause short circuits and fire accidents.

 

How to prevent fire accidents of LED displays

 

1. Failing to scientifically apply air conditioners or radiator fans will lead to uneven distribution of heat dissipation. It will easily cause accidents inside screens due to the increase in temperature.

 

6. Correct installation. Technically, the installation, guidance, and inspection during the installation process of full-color LED displays should be done by professional personnel. It can prevent accidents before they occur.
